The Center hosts the Safe Routes to School National Conference, convening a diverse audience of school leaders and staff; elected officials; practitioners in public health, planning and transportation; advocates; and others. The result? Interest in Safe Routes to School increases exponentially, leading to the creation and funding of a statewide program.
